Gather round, folks! Let’s huddle up for a breather.
<murmuring as readers gather round>
How’s everyone doing out there? Man, what a great effort this week in terms of reading and listening. Thank you for staying engaged and for signing up and for following along with Launch Week! And a special thanks to the new sign-ups aboard. I hope you’ll enjoy life around here.
As a quick recap, we learned:
That counter-ghosting is an acceptable response to being friend-zoned (though perhaps not ideal).
And now here’s this post! That’s a lot for a week. Please be assured The Green Room will operate at a less manic clip through the rest of 2022.
But really, how are you?
The point of this message is to check in. How are you feeling about the content so far? Is this the content you crave? Or is this content which causes you to recoil?
You might get a bit of both here. That’s art, baby! But while I have a fiery streak about creative freedom, it’s also not like I’m going for avant garde.
So what would you like from The Green Room this year? What sort of posts are you interested in reading? Are there any topics you’d like me to consider? Any ideas you’re curious to explore? I’m your friendly neighborhood journalist, and I’m taking requests.
If you have thoughts about this now or at any time through the year, let me know in the comments or by simply replying to one of these emails (or by yelling at me in person).
And awaaaaay we go…
As the final email of launch week, this post is public. Not all of them will be after this! From now on, the paywalls arise! Don’t miss one scintillating second of The Green Room’s stellar storytelling! Subscribe today!
(Okay, one last thing: if you are an artist, or money is an obstacle to subscribing but you’d still like to read, drop me a line and we’ll work something out.)
I recently looked through the top 50 songs on the pop charts and only recognized Taylor Swift. So, I appreciate the Jordan Green recaps of what's good in new music these days as I feel hip afterwards. Thanks!
