There is so much to discuss after a harrowing sea change of a week. But this post is about business.
Last week I met a new writer friend, Cody Kimmel, at a coffee shop near the river. Cody moved up here from Arizona last fall, and we have a lot in common, from faith to fiction to an appreciation for Filson. We also discussed freelancing, and a point of Cody’s resonated with me: that one key strategy for writers is to build pillars of work which support the overall structure.
Which is partially what I’m building with The Green Room, The Cascadia Chronicles, and writing groups. So this is a report on the progress on these three primary pillars, and one other, and how each are bearing weight two months into 2022.
